china found a way to turn deserts into forests

Researchers from Chongqing Jiaotong University have created a paste that can turn sand into soil, which could be used to turn deserts into forests. They also used it to transform 200 hectares of desert into land rich with different types of crops. Their results were published on the journal Engineering.
