In this video – a fully functional F4 Phantom jet aircraft hitting into a reinforced concrete barrier wall at an impressive 500 mp/h. This is something you can’t witness every day, and of course this is a crush test at the Sandia National Laboratories. This experiment was to test the strength of a concrete wall that was built to withstand a nuclear blast. The aircraft used in the experiment weighed 19t including 14.2t solid and 4.8t fluid weights. Just for comparsion, the concrete block has approximately 25 times the weight of the impacting F4 Phantom aircraft.
