When people think of finding a treasure in an abandoned house, they usually imagine a chest with gold doubloons, but we rather imagine a 1967 Lamborghini Miura.
Photographer Jeremy Cliff documented the finding of the iconic Italian car Lamborghini Miura P400. Between 1966 and 1969 the Lamborghini brand only manufactured 275 of these exotic sports cars. And the one he found is one of them. Cliff made a video interviewing the current owner named Bill. There he explains how Bill's "crazy uncle" could not find spare parts for his car and for that reason he left it forgotten for 27 years in a barn.
"In that place was where the car was from 1988 to May 2015," he recalls. The car has a 3.9-liter V-12 engine that delivers 345 horsepower. The Miura is not so famous for its performance, but for the design of the car that was a great influence for the subsequent design of the superautos. Both the position of the engine and its design made Lamborghini a reference factory that began to compare with the Italian king of superautos and created the rivalry between Lamborghini and Ferrari.
