Making a DIY Mini Fridge For a Desktop Or Camper Van At a Low Cost!

I wanted to make a mini fridge to use while working in the workshop or in the office, but it could also fit nicely for a camper van! This is a good project for anyone getting into electronics or wanting an idea for something cool.

This isn’t exactly a “cheap” project but its not very expensive either. The mini fridge may not have the storage space of a traditional-sized refrigerator, but they can offer many of the same features you’d expect on a larger appliance, such as a vegetable crisper drawer.

To begin, attach the petier to the heatsink.Place the heatsink in the box, with the switch facing inside. If you like, you can decorate the cardboard box to look like a refrigerator in advance, by painting it, cutting a door, and using duct tape to reinforce it. Place a piece of scrap metal on top of the heatsink.

For some lighting fun, add a battery powered LED to the list of supplies and mount it in the interior of the fridge.TAKE CARE when dealing with electronics, especially mains power. Make sure you know what you are doing, or consult an expert. If the AC power plugs connects with the aluminium foil or anything else that conducts power, it may be lethal if touched.
